By participating in the Cameo Holidays 2024 Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), you agree to abide by, and be bound by, these Official Rules and Cameo’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines, all of which can be found at https://legal.cameo.com (altogether, the “Site Terms”), which governs your use of the CAMEO™ marketplace platform offered by Baron App, Inc. doing business as Cameo (“we”, “us”, or “Cameo”), including our website (cameo.com), mobile application (“App”), and services we provide through them (collectively, the website, App, and services referred to as our “Site”). Capitalized terms used but not defined herein shall have the respective meanings set forth in the Site Terms.
The decisions of the Sponsor shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
OPEN ONLY TO ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, WHO, AS OF THE TIME OF ENTRY, ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD (AT LEAST 19 YEARS OF AGE IF A RESIDENT OF ALABAMA OR NEBRASKA OR 21 YEARS OF AGE IF A RESIDENT OF MISSISSIPPI) AND ARE THE MINIMUM AGE TO ENTER REQUIRED BY THEIR JURISDICTION.

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with X, X Corp., or any of its affiliates. Baron App, Inc. d/b/a Cameo (“Sponsor”) is not affiliated with X, X Corp., or its affiliates in any way.
1. OVERVIEW/ SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Entry into the Sweepstakes, sponsored by Cameo, will occur during two periods (each a “Sweepstakes Period”). The first entry period begins on December 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time and ends on December 8, 2024 at 11:59pm Central Time (the “First Sweepstakes Period”); the second entry period begins on December 9, 2024 at 12:00am Central Time and ends on December 13, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time (the “Second Sweepstakes Period”). Entry in the Sweepstakes does not constitute entry into any other promotion, contest, or sweepstakes. Winners (defined below) will be selected on or about December 9, 2024 for the First Sweepstakes Period and December 16, 2024 for the Second Sweepstakes Period. All dates subject to change.
2. ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is open only to persons who are legal residents of, and present in, one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (“D.C.”), and at least 18 years of age at the time of entry (at least 19 years of age if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska, at least 21 years of age if a resident of Mississippi) and the minimum age to enter required by their jurisdiction. This Sweepstakes is void in all jurisdictions other than those stated in the foregoing sentence, and where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Employees, contractors, investors, officers, directors, shareholders, agents and representatives of Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, promotion and advertising agencies, anyone involved with the design, execution or fulfillment of this Sweepstakes, and members of the immediate families (defined as including spouse, biological, adoptive and step-parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Non-eligibility or non-compliance with any of these Official Rules will result in disqualification.
Users that are eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes pursuant to all of the terms and conditions of this Rule 2 are referred to herein as “Eligible Entrants”.
3. HOW TO ENTER:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY AND NO ENTRY FEE, PAYMENT, OR PROOF OF PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE.
Limit one (1) entry per person per Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry. There are two alternative methods to enter:
A. Entry via X (formerly Twitter): To enter using X (formerly Twitter) you must have an X account. Your account settings must allow your posts to be viewable by Sponsor and its agents and thus for any entry submitted through such account to be valid. Creating an X account is free but is subject to the applicable terms and conditions. Standard message and data rates may apply. Your account must be a personal account; it may not be a corporate or shared account.
To enter via X, each Eligible Entrant must (1) follow the @bookcameo account on X before the end of the Sweepstakes Period for which the Eligible Entrant wishes to enter and through the date on which the final Winner (defined below) is selected for that Sweepstakes Period; and (2) before the end of the same Sweepstakes Period, Tweet a list of talent who are bookable on cameo.com and from whom the Eligible Entrant would like to receive a Cameo video, and that begins with the hashtag #CameoWishlistSweepstakes. The Tweet must remain visible to Cameo for the duration of that Sweepstakes Period until the final Winner (defined below) is selected for that Sweepstakes Period. Cameo is not responsible for errors in posts or other issues that affect its ability to identify an eligible entry.
Multiple entry posts from the same account, or use of any automated system to participate, is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different X accounts, identities, social media handles, or any other method, will void that person’s entries. All entries must comply with the Entry Guidelines (defined below) or they will be disqualified.
B. Entry by Mail: On a postcard or a card that is no smaller than 3 ½ x 5 inches and no larger than 4 ¼ x 6 inches, legibly handwrite your complete name, mailing address, phone number and date of birth and mail with proper postage to: Cameo Holidays 2024 Sweepstakes, 320 N Elizabeth Street, 1st and 2nd Floors, Chicago, IL 60607. All write-in entries must be postmarked on a date within the Sweepstakes Period for which the Eligible Entrant wishes to enter and received by December 8, 2024 for the first Sweepstakes Period drawing on December 9, 2024 or December 15, 2024 for the Second Sweepstakes Period second drawing on December 16, 2024.
Each envelope/postcard is considered one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Entries submitted or completed by anyone other than the Entrant are void. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted. Write-in entries must contain all entry fields outlined above and no other information, and must contain entry fields for only one individual; any entry that meets these and all other requirements is void and will not be eligible to win. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than one (1) entry per Sweepstakes Period by using multiple/different identities or any other method will void all of that person’s entries.
4. ENTRY GUIDELINES: To qualify for entry, the comments in the X post entry must be your original creation, and must not, in the Sponsor’s sole judgment: be indecent, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, libelous; include any material that violates or infringes another’s rights; disparage Sponsor, any celebrity, or any other party; contain material that is unlawful in any way; or contain brand names, trademarks, or other intellectual property other than those owned by Sponsor. Compliance with these guidelines, and with the rest of the Official Rules, will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry it deems in violation of these Official Rules, or offensive in any way and therefore not suitable for inclusion in the Sweepstakes, all in its sole discretion. Submissions that are determined by Sponsor to violate these Official Rules will void all entries by that person.
5. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: On or about December 9, 2024, a representative of Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the First Sweepstakes Period to select two (2) potential Winners (defined below). On or about December 16, 2024, a representative of Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Second Sweepstakes Period to select two (2) potential Winners (defined below).
If a winner of the random drawing is not an Eligible Entrant or is otherwise unwilling or unable to comply with these Official Rules, Sponsor shall continue conducting random drawings until a winner is drawn that is an Eligible Entrant who complies with these Official Rules, and the Prize (defined below) shall be awarded to such Eligible Entrant, and such Eligible Entrant shall be considered a Winner.
Each Winner must meet all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules and comply with these Official Rules to qualify for a Prize.
6. ODDS: The actual odds of winning a Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Many may enter, four (4) will win.
7. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): Four (4) Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the random drawings, provided that each such winner is an Eligible Entrant, and provided further that each such winner complies with the terms and conditions of these Official Rules (such winner receiving a prize defined herein as a “Winner”).
Each Winner will receive one (1) code for a Cameo Gift Card valued at $250, subject to the standard Site Terms including Additional Terms concerning gift cards (the “Prize”). Cameo gift cards are redeemable only by Cameo accountholders, located in the United States, whose resulting credit balance will not exceed $2000. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize: $250.
The Prize is non-transferable; no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed at Winner’s request, except as explicitly described herein. No more than the intended number of Prizes will be awarded.
SPONSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING WINNER’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE PRIZE. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD SPONSOR AND THE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OF SPONSOR, THEIR AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, AND FULFILLMENT AGENCIES, AND LEGAL ADVISORS, HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OF ANY PRIZE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, AND PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, OR INVASION OF PRIVACY.
8. TAXES: THE WINNER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND/OR LOCAL INCOME TAXES ON THE PRIZE, AND FOR ANY ASSOCIATED COSTS THAT ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRIZE DESCRIPTION ABOVE.
9. CLAIMING THE PRIZE: Following the determination of the potential Winner based on the random drawing, Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential Winner using direct message to the social media account associated with the Winner’s entry. The Winner will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Publicity Release (where permissible), within twenty-four (24) hours of issuance of prize notification. If the potential Winner cannot be reached within twenty-four (24) hours of Sponsor’s initial attempt to contact Winner, if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if the potential Winner is determined by Sponsor to be ineligible, if the potential Winner does not return the above-referenced documents in a timely manner, or if the potential Winner does not comply with these Official Rules in any way, all at Sponsor’s discretion, the potential Winner will be disqualified. In the event of a disqualified potential Winner, Sponsor shall attempt to draw another name from the entries that were submitted during the corresponding Sweepstakes Period to find an alternate Winner.
No more than two (2) Prizes will be awarded in respect of each Sweepstakes Period's random drawing. If, due to a production, technical, human or other error, more than two (2) prize notifications are issued for a given drawing, the two (2) intended Prizes will be awarded in a supplemental random drawing conducted by a representative of Sponsor from among all valid recipients of such prize notifications.
The awarding of each Prize is subject to the restrictions and limitations in these Official Rules.
10. PUBLICITY CONSENT: Except where prohibited, acceptance of the Prize constitutes the Winner’s permission for Sponsor to use his/her name, voice, biographical information (city/state), image, photograph and/or likeness, whether filmed, taped or otherwise recorded, including, without limitation, the Winner’s reactions upon prize notification, for purposes of advertising and trade worldwide, in commerce and in all media now known or hereafter discovered, including, without limitation, social media and the internet, without further notice, permission, or compensation.
11. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) electronic transmissions that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected, or not received by Sponsor for any reason; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of requests for entries, or for deletion, theft or destruction of, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries or transmissions; (iii) any failed or unavailable hardware, network, or software; (iv) causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes; (v) any requests made in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Official Rules and the Site Terms (all such requests will be disqualified); (vi) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrants or Talent Users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes; (vii) any typographical or other error in any printing, advertising, or promotion relating to this Sweepstakes, in the administration or execution of this Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the Winner; or (viii) cheating or fraud by any participant. All incomplete or non-conforming requests will be disqualified.
If for any reason this Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including, without limitation, any printing, administrative, human or other error of any kind, transmission failure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or errors, governmental mandate, pandemic, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, or if this Sweepstakes, or Sponsor’s Site, is compromised or becomes corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes without notice.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of this Sweepstakes generally, or Site, or who acts in violation of these Official Rules or the Site Terms. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE SITE MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND/OR CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, AND SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM, ANY PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the X account used to enter or the individual listed on the mail-in entry, as applicable, provided s/he meets the eligibility requirements for this Sweepstakes; if s/he does not meet such requirements, the entry will be void.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering, each entrant, on behalf of himself/herself and his/her heirs, successors and assigns, agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, X Corp., and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, attorneys, and agents, including without limitation, their advertising and promotion agencies, and the officers, shareholders, directors and employees of each of the foregoing (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all liability for losses, liabilities, damages, claims, fees, lost profits, taxes, interest, costs and expenses, including costs of investigation, defense and enforcement and reasonable fees and expenses of counsel, experts and other professionals, directly or indirectly, (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of: (i) entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes; or (ii) the receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of the Prizes (if applicable), including, without limitation, any action or inaction related thereto.
BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, EACH WINNER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THE SPONSOR HAS NEITHER MADE, NOR IS IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR, ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE PRIZE OR ANY PORTION THEREOF.
ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND SPONSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. PRIVACY: Any personally identifiable information collected in connection with an entrant’s participation in this Sweepstakes will be used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents and marketers only for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of this Sweepstakes, as described in these Official Rules, and the Site Terms including Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at www.cameo.com/privacy.
14. DISPUTES/VENUE/GOVERNING LAW: By participating, each entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or in connection with, this Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, the Prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal, state or local court located in Chicago, Illinois; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including, without limitation, costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (iii) to the extent allowed by applicable law, under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO PORTIONS OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Illinois.
In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials or notifications, or made by Sponsor or its representatives, and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern, and control.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant, on the one hand, and Cameo, on the other, each hereby waive any right to a jury trial of any controversy, claim, counterclaim, or other dispute arising between any entrant and Cameo relating to this Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, these Official Rules (each a “Claim,” and collectively, “Claims”). Each entrant and Cameo agree that with respect to any Claim, neither may: (i) act as a class representative or private attorney general; or (ii) participate as a member of a class of claimants. Each entrant agrees that no Claim may be litigated, prosecuted, pursued, or resolved on a class or representative basis.
15. SEVERABILITY/SURVIVAL: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed appropriately modified to give effect to the intent of the provision or, if modification is not possible, will be severed and the remainder of these Official Rules will continue in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision of these Official Rules will be effective or enforceable unless recorded in a writing signed by the party waiving such a right or requirement. Such a waiver will not waive or affect any other provision of these Official Rules. The portions of these Official Rules which by their nature would survive the end of the Sweepstakes Periods, your relationship with Cameo, and/or the claiming, redemption or cancellation of any Prize, shall so survive.
